About me
During the day, Rubina is a non-fiction essayist, sharing her thoughts, lessons and personal stories about what it means to be a writer and live a creative life. She hopes her words will help her creative friends know they are not alone and that this artistic life is worth it. She shares her essays through her newsletter at Substack.
During the night, Rubina is a multi-genre novelist and short story writer, biased towards crime fiction and mystery. She is currently writing her first detective fiction, code-named OS, which she hopes will entertain her readers.
A reader since 2007, Rubina has been in touch with her writer soul since 2014 and enjoys every writing session. She is a Capricorn, an INFJ, an empath, a forced introvert, and a recovering people-pleaser. She is an MCU, Egyptian mythology and coffee fan and buys books as if she is immortal.
Born and brought up in Delhi, Rubina resides in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. And she hopes to bring a golden retriever in her life soon.
